Electro Colour is a printing process that uses electricity and cabbage juice. We soak the paper in red cabbage juice, a natural pH indicator. We then place the print on a custom circuit board and run electricity through the paper. As electricity breaks down the water into hydrogen and oxygen, the red cabbage juice changes its colour. The result is a unique print leaving vibrant traces along electrical paths.

The print is finished with a coating of beeswax to ensure its longevity. Depending on the environment, the colours will evolve over time.
