Renewable Energy Workshop

We ran a renewable energy workshop with the year 4s of Eleanor Palmer Primary School in Camden. Over the course of 4 days the students learned about renewable energies, made their own lamps, energy power stations and found the best place to install them in the school.

This power station uses the energy from the sun. This particular solar energy station can be adjusted to move with the sun during the course of the day.

This power station uses hydroelectric energy from the school’s fish pond and powers the red lantern.

This energy station uses human power. The energy to power the LED lantern is created by moving the wheel stick along the school’s running track.
